Pressure Washing Drone

Pressure Washing Drone & Drone Pressure Washer Service

A pressure washing drone — also called a drone pressure washer or drone power washing rig — replaces ground crews and boom lifts. Ours delivers low-pressure soft-wash detergent and a pure-water rinse from the air, exactly where it's needed, on any elevation.

The Problem

High-pressure ground washing damages what it cleans

On stucco, EIFS, painted concrete, and aging sealants, traditional pressure washing strips coatings, drives water behind panels, and still misses everything above the second floor.

  • High PSI strips paint and damages sealants
  • Ground crews can't reach upper floors safely
  • Water intrusion behind panels causes mold and rust
  • Sidewalks and entries closed for days
  • Tenants exposed to noise and overspray
  • Multiple visits needed to cover one building
The Drone Solution

Aerial soft-wash — the right chemistry, the right pressure

Our drones carry a biodegradable cleaning solution that lifts dirt, algae, and pollution at low pressure, then rinse with pure water for a streak-free finish on every elevation.

Step-by-step process

Drone pressure washing process, start to finish

Every project follows a controlled, documented workflow — from site survey through 4K proof-of-clean delivery.

  1. 1

    Site survey & substrate assessment

We walk the property, photograph each elevation, and identify substrates: stucco vs EIFS vs painted concrete vs metal cladding. Each gets a different soft-wash chemistry. We also locate sealant joints, expansion gaps, and any failed cladding that needs to be flagged before water touches it.

  2. 2

    Flight plan & airspace authorization

A flight plan is filed with the property manager. In controlled airspace near MIA, FLL, or PBI we request LAANC airspace authorization from the FAA before mobilization.

  3. 3

    Tenant notification

Property management distributes a 48-hour notice with elevation-by-elevation timing so tenants close exterior shades and move balcony furniture. Sidewalk and parking-zone control is set up during ground-pump staging.

  4. 4

    Ground pump & water staging

A ground-based pump and water tank are positioned within tether reach. Detergent is mixed at substrate-appropriate concentration; rinse water is filtered through reverse osmosis and de-ionization.

  5. 5

    Low-pressure soft-wash application

The drone applies biodegradable detergent panel-by-panel at low pressure. Dwell time is 2–5 minutes depending on algae/pollution loading — chemistry does the work, not pressure, which is what keeps coatings and sealants intact.

  6. 6

    Pure-water rinse + documentation

Pure-water rinse sheets the lifted soil off every elevation, drying streak-free. 4K aerial footage and stills are captured during the same flights and delivered to the property manager as proof of clean.

Safety, insurance & compliance

Safety, insurance & compliance

Drone pressure washing removes workers from height entirely and replaces ground-pressure equipment that frequently damages buildings.

Zero crew at height

No scaffolding, no boom lift, no rope access. The pilot flies from a ground station — the single highest-risk variable in commercial cleaning (a worker at elevation) is eliminated.

No surface damage from over-pressure

Ground-based pressure washing routinely strips paint, fails sealant joints, and drives water behind cladding. Our soft-wash drone operates at a fraction of that pressure — chemistry cleans, water rinses, the building stays intact.

FAA Part 107 certified

Every flight is conducted by an FAA-licensed commercial drone pilot under 14 CFR Part 107. LAANC authorizations are filed for controlled airspace near MIA, FLL, and PBI.

$1M+ commercial general liability

We carry general liability plus dedicated UAS liability and hull coverage. Certificates of insurance naming the building owner and property manager are issued before mobilization.

Biodegradable, substrate-safe chemistry

All detergents are biodegradable and dialed to the substrate. No chlorine bombs on painted EIFS, no acid washes on stucco — every project uses chemistry rated for the surface it touches.

Documented pre-flight risk assessment

Each flight follows a written checklist: weather, airspace, equipment, pedestrian/vehicle exclusion zones, and substrate compatibility. Operations halt for winds above 30 mph, lightning within 10 miles, or any reportable mechanical anomaly.

Pricing ranges

Drone pressure washing pricing in South Florida

All projects are fixed-price after a free site survey. Typical ranges for drone power washing in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach:

Frequently asked

Drone pressure washing FAQ

What is a pressure washing drone and how does it work?+

A pressure washing drone is a tethered industrial UAS that carries a soft-wash spray head fed by a ground-based pump. Detergent and pure water travel up the tether to the drone, which applies them panel-by-panel from the air. The pilot stays on the ground — no lifts, no scaffolding, no crew at height.

Is a drone pressure washer actually high-pressure?+

No — and that's the point. Traditional ground pressure washers blast 2,000–4,000 PSI, which strips paint, drives water behind panels, and damages sealants. Our drone power washing system uses low-pressure soft-wash chemistry (the cleaner does the work, not the pressure) plus a pure-water rinse. It cleans deeper without surface damage.

What surfaces can a drone pressure washer clean?+

Stucco, EIFS, painted concrete, brick, metal cladding, glass curtain walls, tile and metal roofs, parking-garage facades, signage, and architectural features. Soft-wash chemistry is dialed in per substrate — what cleans algae off a tile roof is not what cleans pollution off painted EIFS.

How is drone power washing different from regular pressure washing?+

Three differences: (1) reach — drones cover full elevations including upper floors traditional ground crews can't safely touch; (2) pressure — low-pressure soft-wash protects sealants and coatings; (3) speed and cost — no lift rental, no scaffold permit, 30–60% lower total project cost.

Will a drone pressure washer damage stucco, EIFS, or painted surfaces?+

No. We deliberately use low-pressure soft-wash chemistry on these substrates because high-PSI ground washing routinely damages them. Sealants, coatings, and paint stay intact. We also avoid driving water behind cladding panels, which prevents the mold and rust problems that follow aggressive ground washing.

How much does drone pressure washing cost in Miami?+

A mid-rise drone pressure washing project in Miami typically runs $2,500–$8,000. A 20–30 story high-rise facade comes in around $10,000–$25,000. That's 30–60% less than scaffold-based or boom-lift cleaning on the same scope because there's no rigging, no lift rental, and no per-day crew cost.

Can a drone pressure washer reach a roof I can't walk on?+

Yes — and it's one of the most common use cases. Tile, metal, TPO, and aging shingle roofs that won't tolerate foot traffic get a full soft-wash and rinse from the air. Zero foot traffic means zero broken tiles, zero displaced fasteners, and zero warranty risk.

Do you need FAA permission to operate a pressure washing drone?+

Yes. Every flight is conducted under FAA Part 107 by a licensed commercial drone pilot. In controlled airspace near MIA, FLL, and PBI we file LAANC airspace authorizations before each operation. Documentation is carried on every job site.

What insurance covers a drone pressure washer operation?+

We carry $1M+ commercial general liability plus dedicated UAS (drone) liability and hull coverage. Certificates of insurance naming the property owner and management are issued before mobilization on every project.

Does drone soft-wash kill algae, mildew, and mold?+

Yes. Our biodegradable soft-wash detergent is engineered to kill organic growth at the root — not just blast it off the surface. That's why soft-wash results last 4–6× longer than pressure-washing alone, which leaves spores behind and grows back within months in South Florida humidity.

Can a drone pressure washer clean during tenant business hours?+

Yes. There's no scaffolding, no boom lift in the parking lot, no crew over the sidewalk. Tenants get a brief notification, the drone flies one elevation at a time, and occupancy continues. Pre-dawn or post-hours flights are also available.

How often should a Miami building be drone pressure washed?+

Oceanfront properties in Brickell, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, and Hallandale Beach: every 6 months because of salt and algae. Inland Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach buildings: annually. Roofs in South Florida humidity need annual soft-wash to control algae streaking and granule loss.
